Re: Open Orbit
*Jensen walked out with Suri, leaving the Togorians to do their work.* "We've got to get back to work." *He started, but then was thrashed to the side violently. Strange, it wasn't the same as the previous explosions had been. The entire ship shook, but the Pellaeon was not known for it's structural weaknesses. Something big must be attacking. He turned back to the reactor room.* "You better have that reactor core up and running soon!" *He yelled back, taking Suri by the hand and running back towards the bridge. Whilst there was a battle going on, for those brief minutes, alone in the corridors, there was peace and calm. Single-minded determination to survive was all that kept Lorgo from despair, and ultimately death.
They reached the bridge promptly, already noticing the fires errupting on the hull of the vessel.* "Bombing runs." *Someone on the bridge needlessly identified. He blinked as enemy laser fire shot past from behind them, and Manaan was growing bigger by the minute. They were falling to their doom, and still the enemy was attacking them? They couldn't even do anything. It was almost as if they were sitting ducks! Almost.*
"C'mon... c'mon!" *He willed, thinking of the Togorians in the reactor room hard at work.*

"Hold on boys..." *Laura said, grabbing the piloting instruments deftly, as if it were second nature, and taking the heavily customised freighter up and up, towards the flashing lights and the explosions of the space battle of Manaan. A Wookie roared from somewhere in the ship, and Laura decided it was Perchacca in the upper laser cannon, readying herself for what was to come, for they had a lot of work to do!
But even Laura wasn't prepared for what she saw. The Chubby Gundarkl was about to enter a battle that was being lost - and heavily - by the defending forces. She, technically, was in command of the Fifth Fleet, but she didn't do capital ships or fleet tactics. She and her moltley crew of the Chubby Gundark were enough to turn the tide of any battle! Jimbo was in the opposite battery to the Wookie, and they were about to get messy.
Laura flipped a switch to contact the Fifth Fleet, but only static greeted her. Great, they were being jammed. She didn't even know which ships to defend! Regardless, she spotted a trajedy she could not ignore. A huge warship, aflame, and heading right towards her. No, wait, not towards her. Towards Manaan! On closer inspection, she identified the 'five' number on the hull - albeit scarred - and new that this was the flagship of her fleet. Her fleet, which was no where to be seen.* "We're going in hot! Nida, you make sure our shields stay up!" *She called into the freighter.* "Perchy and Jimbo, get ready to fire!" *She called again.*
*The abundance of crew members for such a modified vessel had its advantages. One person could always man the weapons, another could pilot, and yet another could regulate shield power and compensate for when things were going wrong. She'd need all that and more to win this fight. She pushed the Freighter up to full throttle, coaxing as much speed as possible, and trying to pick the wisest target.* "What am I saying? Guns free! Shoot whichever fighter's closest!" *She yelled, taking the freighter into the thick of things, and already she began to tail an enemy fighter. Her weapons opened up, two quad heavy laser cannons spouting forth fire from their nozzles.* "Where's her fighters?" *Laura asked as she looked at the downed warship.*

*With a glorious feeling of pride, the Agent II joined the battle. A microjump from where the other task forces lay in wait. And what a battle it was! General Tazi, a Togorian verteran of many battles, stood at the helm, along with his naval equivelant of the Captain of the vessel. He wasn't capable of ship-to-ship fighting, so he had allowed the other to stay aboard and direct the mission along with himself. It was risky, he knew, but also Tazi had made it clear that any insubordination would be dealt with harshly. Now was not the time to falter!*
*But where was his fleet?* "Contact the Illustrious!" *He ordered in a bark.*
"We're being Jammed, General. However, we have the Illustrious on our scanners. She's... she's falling. Toward the planet. We can't hail her, and she's being attacked!" *Came the reply, the voice growing ever more worried as the data was read out and interpreted.
The Captain beside Tazi stayed silent, preffering the Togorian to do the honours of ordering the mission to start.* "What's attacking her?" *He asked tentatively, wondering if the mission could be carried out while indeed saving the Illustrious. Tazi had respect for Jensen, which was a lot higher than his opinion of everyone else. He didn't want to see him die, and all those valuable crewmen either, but the mission had to go forward. It was just another chess piece to winning the battle, and the war. If Jensen had to die, then he had to die! For the greater good! Still, if he could somehow complete both objectives at the same time...*
"I count snubfighters, Carracks, Broadsides, a Star Destroyer and a Heavy Cruiser." *Came the report. That was a lot attacking. It was a wonder that the ship was still intact.* "I'm not registering her sheilds up either. She's taking a beating! We have to help her!"
*And indeed they would.*
"Full speed." *Tazi ordered, taking his leave from the bridge while shouting his orders.* "We're a fast frigate for Palpatine's sake! Shields raised, ram that Star Destroyer! Set the mission in motion. Our other target, that heavy cruiser! Go go go!"
*Technically, by law, Tazi wasn't a member of the Fifth Fleet anymore. He had committed mutinous action! Taken over a navy ship by force and held those who stayed hostage. But it had to be done! His plan was, again, only another piece of the grander plan to win! He was sure Jensen had supsected something, and yet done nothing to stop him, so therefore the Captain must have approved? No matter, it was going ahead now, and it seemed like that were the only ones available to help the Illustrious. And help them they would!
Their plan: To ram an enemy ship, while taking the unarmed shuttles arranged in the rather cramped hanger of the Agent II to board a nearby ship, hence taking two out of the equation. If they could take over that Heavy Cruiser, things might even turn for the Iron Fists! It wasn't long before all the Togorians were arranged in the hanger and squashed in the transports.*
:: "This is Captain Kinkers. We're at top speed, and we're heading directly for the Star Destroyer's command tower. Prepare for your launch, over." :: *Came the captain's announcement via the internal communications array, as everything else was being jammed. Tazi smiled and shouldered his Scalphunter. It was nearly time!*

[Reply to Droid Vadar]
*This was it. The last Togorian of Green Platoon that was sent to fend off boarders, and indeed it seemed like they had done a bloody good job! Against those commando droids, the Togorians had proven their worth, and therefore he could die knowing that he did his duty. He fought for control as the droid smashed through the viewport, shattering glass everywhere.
But the battle was cut short. The magnetic field holding the atomsphere and pressure and gravity in the hanger deactivated. Suddenly, the Togorian was found to be rushing
towards the void of space, dead within seconds without the protective canopy. Not only that, but everything in the hanger was flushed out into space, leaving nothing to hold onto. It was the Mon Calamari Captain in the ship, taking things into his own hands to stop further infection by those damned droids.*
